Melanie grew up in Henrico County and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Finance.  She has personally lived in the City, Henrico County, and raised her children in Goochland. She has worked in all counties around Richmond. Having worked for various local media outlets, Marriott Corporation and traveling with Richmond’s Regional Tourism Commission, she has been successfully selling “Richmond” for years.  With friends, family and professional contacts all over the Metropolitan area, she is well versed in the feel and vibe of Richmond’s varied neighborhoods and communities.  Melanie’s wide personal and professional network attest to her warm, kind and dependable nature and confirm that Melanie knows Richmond.

Melanie has actively supported Feed More, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Virginia, Caritas, and many other charitable organizations. As a lifelong Richmonder, Melanie enjoys taking advantage of Richmond’s enticing and ever-growing food scene.  After years of rooting her boys on at Collegiate Schools, Melanie is proud of the young men she has raised that are nearing graduation from the University of Mississippi and the University of Kentucky.  When not working, you can find Melanie spending time with friends and family, grilling out, playing tennis, enjoying her dog Duke, and traveling.
